Get Along, Little Doggies
Boots are a Texan’s best friend. No wonder they’re so doggone popular. Photographer William Wegman and model Fay Ray pay tribute to the footwear we walk, stomp, work, dance, live, love, and kick up our heels in.

Fay Ray, one well-heeled Weimaraner, will don anything for her master, photographer William Wegman. To capture his favorite subject modeling a variety of classic Western boots, Wegman used one of the few 20-by-24 inch Polaroid cameras in the world.
