Signify your love on Valentine’s Day by offering your amour this titanically rich dessert from Dacapo’s on the Parkway (3322 D’Amico Street, off Allen Parkway). Lisa Biggerstaff, the pastry chef at the popular new haunt of Houston’s cafe society, begins by creating a frothy sea of chocolate mousse, fairly awash in whipped cream. Then she introduces eminently palatable icebergs of hazelnut-studded dark chocolate. Broad brushstrokes of edible gold dust shimmer in the light, lending a warmth that would melt even the most glacial heart.
