Desserts can never be too rich or have too much chocolate—that’s Rebecca Rather’s philosophy.

For Valentine’s Day, the owner of Austin’s Rather Sweet Bakery (814 W. Twelfth Street) has created a triple-threat frozen dessert. The first layer is a flourless chocolate cake with a touch of rum; the second is an ethereal milk chocolate mousse. A sensuous dark chocolate glaze provides the crowning touch. The lucky recipient of this confection should find both the cake and the cook irresistible.
