Last December, when the Second City comedy troupe held a 24-hour show in Chicago just before its forty-fourth anniversary, two actors battled head-to-head in a BILL COSBY impersonation contest. And next year comedian Kenan Thompson—who did a killer impersonation of the Cos on Saturday Night Live—will be playing the lead role in the movie Fat Albert (produced and co-written by Cosby and directed by My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Joel Zwick). But imitators beware: The Real Thing will be giving two performances May 1 at Dallas's Music Hall at Fair Park. Best not to congratulate him on his stunning likeness to Cosby himself.
