Albany

For the past seventeen years, polo players from throughout the United States have been making the pilgrimage to the Musselman Brothers Lazy 3 Ranch, just outside the tiny West Texas town of Albany, to play Polo on the Prairie, a fundraiser for the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. This year, some thirty amateur and professional players, including Hector Galindo, who is known as one of the best in the world, will come again on May 1 to compete for the 2004 championship cup. In addition to the action on the field, spectators can enjoy some good 'cue and a performance by Gary P. Nunn.
