Dallas Cowboys head coach and owner Jerry Jones announced plans to relocate the team to Monterrey, Mexico. “The revenue streams at our decrepit Arlington facility are no longer acceptable,” Jones said. “Mexico made us an offer we couldn’t refuse, and that’s not even considering the higher value of the peso compared to U.S. dollars.”

High Cotton

The Southlake Carroll Dr Pepper Dragons won the Cotton Bowl 56-10 over the Artesia (New Mexico) Taco Belldogs. Since the game became the high school national championship, in 2023, Coach Dennis Franchione’s Dragons have won three of the six contests.
