Jacob Lipp’s mom, Joan, and I were best friends growing up in Houston from 1st grade all the way through to graduation from high school and then long after, and we still stay in touch. I held P.J. (as he was known then) when he was a baby and watched him grow up. I later moved to Austin with my I am in Austin with my now husband, Dave, and we have twin boys, and Joan and Sandy, another best friend, threw my baby shower for me.
