FEBRUARY 27–MARCH 5, 2012

AUSTIN

Opening February 27: Chen Z Hot Pot & Noodle Bar, 2700 W. Anderson Lane.
The owners of Chen’s Noodle House are at it again.

Opening February 28: Drink.Well., 207 E. 53rd.

Closed: Melting Pot, 305 E. 3rd.
The other location on U.S. Hwy 183 in Northwest Austin remains open.

Closed: Romeo’s, 1500 Barton Springs Road.

Dallas

Opening February 27: ChopHouse Burger, 1501 Main.
The people behind the Dallas Chop House and Dallas Fish Market are betting that folks want locally-sourced burgers (think all-natural Bonsmara beef from Amarillo and cheeses and buns from the Empire Baking Co.).

HOUSTON

Closing February 29: Guadalajara Bakery, 4003 Washington Avenue.
Loyal fans will have to find a new gig. Currently there are no plans to reopen this beloved family-owned bakery.
