Recipe from BRC, Houston

6 large eggs
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups half and half
3/4 cup sugar
6 large artisan challah buns (freshly baked grocery store plain hamburger buns work nicely too)
1/2 pound dark chocolate chips
1/2 pound white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl mix add eggs and whisk. Add cream and half and half and whisk together. Mix in sugar and set aside.

Hand tear the burger buns into large chunks. Place burger bun pieces on baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 to 7 minutes or until they become golden brown. While toasting the buns, grease a cake pan with spray (butter works well also). Place toasted buns into the cake pan and pour the egg mixture over the buns. With your hands, mix in the chocolates. Cover the cake pan with foil, place into oven, and cook for about 1 1/2 hours or until the mixture firms up.
