New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung Makes Unfortunate Error

The paper printed Jerry Sandusky's name under a photo of Tiger Woods, proving again that everyone needs a copy editor.

The New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung made an egregious typo in a weekend AP story the paper ran about the British Open, running the name Sandusky, the disgraced Penn State assistant coach, under a picture of Tiger Woods.

Sports business reporter Darren Rovell declared the mistake to be perhaps the “worst photo caption error of all time,” after coming across a photo of it on Chip Zay’s Twitter feed.
