Mar Teres is decidedly not a hidden gem in Lufkin. This longtime tearoom nestled inside a turn-of-the-century residence (actually located between Huntington and Lufkin) appeals to leisurely lunchers, business folk, and truck drivers alike, all of whom seem to share for the artfully presented fare. We visited with an adventurous spirit and chose the trio sampler, an international threesome of subtly spicy Mexican chicken quiche, broccoli salad, and garlicky chicken spaghetti.
