Daily Beast disses Maxey’s book on Perry
Readers may have heard that former Texas State Rep Glen Maxey has published an e-book about Rick Perry’s private life. I seldom agree with Mr. Perry about anything, but his campaign’s description of the book as “false internet garbage” seems spot on to me. The Daily Beast today has a story that features Jacob Bernstein’s interview with Maxey. Mr. Maxey does not exactly come across as Robert Caro when it comes to biography.
I am not going to waste a lot of time or space on this story. The problem with Mr. Perry has never been his private life. It is his public life and its unfortunate impact on Texas.
From the Daily Beast’s story:
Having not quite gotten the smoking gun, Maxey also relies heavily on innuendo to make his case. For example, what’s up with those teeny jogging shorts Perry’s always wearing? This Maxey finds very suspicious. He also hears the governor shaves his legs and arms! What’s up with that?
Unsurprisingly, Maxey can be a little naïve about why The Huffington Post spiked the story. He complains almost relentlessly about how much work went into it—at least two months and heaps of interviews with hundreds of people around the state capital—as if this alone should give HuffPo the impetus to publish his account. He doesn’t seem to understand what hearsay is, and when confronted about this, says simply, “I’m not a journalist.”

I have no personal knowledge whether this story is true. I don’t know anyone who does and if it was true, I should know someone who knows something. It is by definition impossible to ever prove a negative but my sense is, there is no there, there. Way too hard to keep a secret like this one.

Totally agree. If there was a modicum of truth to the rumors, the $1 million being offered for proof would have smoked someone out…especially in light of the large numbers of people that Mr. Maxey and his prime supporter, RM, claim have stories to tell.

I will have more to say on this later. Glen Maxey, a former 12 year state representative, as well as perhaps the #1 gay activist in Texas, is telling you he has personally spoken with men who have had homosexual sex with Rick Perry and with gay men whose male friends have had sex with Rick Perry.
Just because these sources are anonymous does not mean they are not true. It is very difficult to get male and female prostitutes to talk about high profile people who they have had sex with. You ought to try it sometime.
Another key point: Glen Maxey and I are not friends and in fact have been political enemies on issues and campaigns past. Yet we BOTH have heard confirming parallel stories about Rick Perry and his behavior from multiple sources who we deem to be credible.
You can judge the credibility of Glen Maxey and myself however you want to.
Rick Perry is anti-stripper, anti-prostitute (now we send them to state prison thanks to his signature), anti-gay, and anti-drug.
Yet, what I keep hearing, and confirmed in parallel by Maxey, is that Perry regularly hires both female and male prostitues. Not to mention his supposed trysts will all sorts of gay men.
Maxey knows the “gay angle” to Perry; I know the “girl angle.” Apparently, Perry has been rampant on both fronts.
Google “Robert Morrow Stuffed Suits.com” for my articles on Rick Perry’s dirty double life.
Also, Glen Maxey personally spoke with that man who described Perry’s precious little Craigslist adventure. Completely believable to me from what I know about Perry. Just Maxey’s ability to vet this real estate agent any way you want to. The gay real estate agent told a lot of his friends about his unsettling experience.
The other real story is that has been all occurring under the noses of the Texas and MSM here in Texas. Perry has been rampant and these folks missed the story for over a decade.
I spoke with a man well acquainted with the sexual underworld of Austin. I was asking him to get a female escort who had been with Perry to go public. He said “Robert, in this business we all have each other by the balls.”
I guess the real issue here is no principals have gone public about their illicit or gay sex with Rick Perry. You are hearing it through proxies like Glen Maxey and myself.
So there is no way to judge the credibility or measure the stories of the avalanche of people who are privately making all these lurid allegations about Perry.
As for my opinion, I think Rick Perry is very, very, very gay. As gay as San Franciso/New York bathhouse gay. In addition to the girls.
And you can substitute the word “hypocrite” for the word “gay” above.

You folks probably think the Midnight Cowboy on 6th street in Austin was a place for Chinese take out food.
Basically, Midnight Cowboy was running an Asian whorehouse in plain sight in the heart of Austin’s entertainment district for 30+ years.
Hidden in plain sight. Ditto Perry.

Robert Morrow has used this story as an opportunity to flood other websites with his BS as well, including The Daily Beast.
Talking to random people via Facebook and text message is not “research.” Glen Maxey couldn’t get a single one of these people to go on the record about any of these alleged encounters.
There has been grist in the Rick Perry is Gay rumor mill since 2004 when the Statesman ran that story about him and Anita possibly separating. If any of it was true, there would have been some hard evidence by now. It’s been almost eight years.
Glen Maxey could have sold a lot more of those e-books if he had published it back in August when people actually cared about what Rick Perry was doing for reasons other than comic relief.

Well, Anita, Bill Clinton raped a campaign volunteer, Juanita Broderick, in 1978 while he was the Attorney General of Arkansas. He bit and busted her lips to disable her and he raped her twice within a 30 minute period. As Clinton got up to leave, he put his sunglasses on, then told Juanita you ought to put ice on those lips, and by the way, don’t worry about getting pregnant because I had the mumps as a kid and I am sterile.
Clinton had paid $200 to Gennifer Flowers to get an abortion 3 months before in Jan. 1978.
Bill Clinton, then the highest law enforcement officer in Arkansas, never spent a day in jail for those rapes. He was never charged with any crime. But folks knew what he did because Juanita told her friends in real time.
Years later Clinton got Juanita to sign a false affidavit saying that she had no experiences or relations whatsoever with Bill Clinton.
Then the truth comes out in 1999 on national TV when NBC and Lisa Meyers interviews Juanita and she tells what Clinton did to her all those years ago.
The powerful often try to live by different rules than everyone else. Most people are very hesitant to take them on – even if they have been raped by one of the power elite.
Scores and scores of people know things about Perry’s loose lifestyle. And they tell plenty of folks. But when it comes time to go on TV or talk to major media, they balk … for obvious reasons. I’m not saying Perry is rapist, just giving you one example of how stuff like this gets covered up.
Anyone who goes public on Perry, will be immediately subject to ridicule and derision. And character assassination. And if Perry had any chance to win, they would put private detectives on them. And unless you have DNA proof, there is always the chance of a diversionary lawsuit. Etc.
I sure wish these folks would go public, but I can see why they don’t. Hustler Mag will give you $1 million BUT you better have DNA proof, photos, 3rd party verification or maybe incriminating emails and text messages.
Bill Clinton used to tell his state trooper entourage, “Boys, unless they catch me with a live goat, I will just deny it.”
Actually, that strategy works pretty good in most cases of the powerful vs. the weak.

2 direct primary sources did go public and the spoke with the Huffington Post: 1) the real estate agent with that hilarious story about Rick Perry and 2) the gay prostitute who Perry and his entourage supposedly hire.
Huff Post came within an inch of running the story then AOL management spiked it. Honestly, I thought this story would run in mid September.
The real estate guy spoke with Huff Post but would not let him use his last name. The gay prostitute – known as the “hustler” – later got cold feet but only after giving up his story.
None of my sources (6-8 of them on various aspects of Perry’s wild side) will go public. I barely got a few of them to talk with a reporter. The others would not even do that.
Most of these folks do not know each other; they are not that political; and they come at it from different angles.
Folks can judge Glen Maxey’s ability to assess witnesses and sources however they like. We have done our job and told what we know even if the principals do not want to take the next step.
Additionally, Glen Maxey has stated that since his book was published he has 5 new leads on Perry including one that is a white hot one (probably one of Perry’s lovers).
Finally, I assure you Santorum and Bachmann are using this to the hilt on Perry in Iowa.

Perry’s modus operandi for years has been to be driven up to strip clubs … then send the boys in to get the girls because he is too high profile. One source (a guy) in San Antonio told me that they used to get “the girls who were pretty well traveled if you know what I mean.”
I had a young lady tell me the name of one of Perry’s entourage, someone who often travels with him when its playtime. I forgot the last name! I know his first name, no reason to reveal.
An Austin reporter told me that they had heard about Perry and the strippers in 2006, but they never could nail it down.
Even though Perry is a political non-factor now, having permanently and fatally damaged his political career (including in Texas), I just wish someone would come forward, tell the truth about the man, and be willing to take the heat that comes with that.

Great. So you’re not going to post anymore on this subject until one of the many unnamed witnesses come forward and publicly tell their stories? Seems like the fair road to take, don’t you think? The power elite sometimes get away with a lot of stuff – including rampant pedophilia in the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein, CFR member, big Demo donor & Florida resident, was basically molesting a Greyhound bus load of very young teenage women – ages 12-16 … and he got away with it with the slightest slap on the wrist, when he should have been put in jail for decades.
Epstein was also dealing these girls to some of his very high profile friends – nationally prominent political figures.
I am just giving you an example of what some connected folks can get away with – I am not calling Rick Perry a pedophile or even Bill Clinton one.
You will be hearing more about the Epstein case, because there are experienced, capable people investigating this case/cover up.
