Guys, this is getting kind of embarrassing. There is more to life – and politics – than The Speaker’s Race.

People come to a blog to read and read quickly, not to get trapped watching a long, drawn out video. I can’t understand why Texas Monthly thinks this is a good way to communicate anything to anyone. I’ve clicked on some of these, but can’t make myself watch past about 30 seconds.
For a thought provoking look at the votes for Speaker, go to Burnt Orange Report and see Phil’s analysis.

Hmmm, the current one is showing for me, let me take a look. Thanks.
RE: House Watcher
Totally. We actually are working to make them shorter. If you can’t stomach watching them, do not click play. Those are precious minutes you can not get back.

I haven’t reviewed the video either but I won’t if you’re actually discussing anything about Lois Kolkhorst. You don’t have to talk about her. She does enough talking about herself to fill hours of boring video.
She is annoying.

Plain Spoken 2 is incorrect. I love the politics daily banner. Every morning I ponder- What is Evan using on his hair? Is it contribiting to global warming or leading to the extinction of a species? Doesn’t Jake look just like Ryan the intern from the office?
And then I open the video blog and am treated to Paul in all his jowly, gruff goodness and Eileen, who frankly is the Martha Quinn/Tabitha Sorenson of the TM generation.
