    Dewhurst is trying to secure his legacy as Lieutenant Governor, but I hear that KBH may resign this fall and Perry will appoint the Dew to her Senate seat, likely giving him an advantage in terms of campaign cash and the special election.

    Don’t be surprised if Dewhurst runs for re-election instead of for the U.S. Senate.
