If You Don’t Honor This Magazine…
“If You Don’t Buy This Magazine, Dick Cheney Will Shoot You in the Face” won Best Cover Line of the Year at the 2007 American Magazine Conference (which, coincidentally, was held at a hotel in Boca Raton where Dick Cheney spoke to the same conference a few years back). Other winners in the “best cover” contest were The New Yorker (of course), Wired, Time, O at Home, and Harper’s Bazaar. It’s great to be in such elite company. And I’m glad our deep reservoir of snarkiness is paying dividends.
