In the eight years or so that I have been writing this blog, I have invited a couple of writers, such as Patricia Kilday Hart and Nate Blakeslee, to contribute posts. But for the most part, it has been me and me alone. So I’m pleased to announce that I’ve invited two new faces to contribute to this space going forward: senior executive editor Brian D. Sweany and senior editor Erica Grieder.
If you’ve been reading the magazine or the website, their names won’t be new to you. Both of them covered the 83rd Legislature with me last year and worked on our Best/Worst list. You may recall that Brian wrote a cover story on Greg Abbott last fall, and Erica has written the cover story for our current issue, on Senator Ted Cruz. Of course, I will still be writing as always (it is my name on the blog, after all), but I’m glad to have their voices as part of the discussion.
