In the posting about Admiral Inman's survey of the global political situation, I was a victim of my own faulty notetaking. I wrote (from my notes) that Turkey did NOT want to join the European Union. A couple of correspondents wrote to say that this was incorrect, and I received independent confirmation of this. The item has been corrected.
