Known for its rigorous academics and strong Christian values, Baylor University is the only private university in the Big 12 athletic conference. It’s also the largest Baptist university in the world. Approximately 12,000 undergraduates attend Baylor, where they choose from more than 145 majors and programs, including the university’s well-regarded pre—health care, engineering, and business programs.

Baylor’s vibrant campus occupies 735 acres along the Brazos River in Waco, and many members of the university community volunteer their time and talent to local organizations.
