Relocated in fall 2008, Concordia University Texas is now nestled on a 385-acre campus in the Hill Country of northwest Austin. The new campus features a 250-acre nature preserve with wetlands, caves, and a habitat area. Concordia, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, offers 22 undergraduate majors, a Master of Education, and an Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) for part-time and returning adult students. The ADP offers students the opportunity to study in Austin, Dallas—Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.
Affiliated with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, Concordia University Texas prides itself on cultivating Christian leaders. Overall enrollment is at a record high of more than 2,200 total students, who enjoy new, apartment-style housing and a new gym, in addition to a music and performing arts center. The university’s sports teams compete at the NCAA Division III level.
