Pizza /
Italian

(From September 2008) The place was oddly quiet on our visit (where was the music?), but the pizzas and other basic Italian dishes were exactly what we wanted, the waiters were friendly, and the tables were decked out in the usual red-and-white-checked tablecloths. That’s amore. Beer & wine (limited list).

Italian /
Pizza

(From October 2009) Wine bottles adorn this casual restaurant, one in a chain of twentysomething locations throughout Texas. Of a wide assortment of pizzas and Italian fare, the house-made meatballs are a great way to start, as are the soups (minestrone, tomato basil) and salads (Greek, Caesar, antipasti). To get a taste of the Big Apple, we went for the New York Village pizza, which comes with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, Canadian bacon, and hamburger. The food was good, but the service was a little disorganized. Bar.
