(From November 2009) Sabaidee means “hello” in Laotian, and this cheery new addition to Amarillo’s Asian restaurants has an extensive and inviting menu, offering Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and traditional Laotian dishes. The tom yum soup definitely passed the test, with just the right amount of succulent chicken, tender shrimp, hot pepper, and tangy lemongrass. The red curry was also good (and not too hot). We saved room for fruit wontons, freshly fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
