Gammy’s Broken Glass Torte

Crust
2 dozen crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix thoroughly and pack tightly in oblong 9 x 13 Pyrex dish.

Filling
1 package each lime, lemon, and cherry Jell-O
1 package plain unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 cup pineapple juice, heated
1 cup cream, whipped
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Prepare and chill each package of Jell-O in a separate pan. When all flavors are set, cut into small cubes and set aside. Using a large bowl, soften unflavored gelatin in cold water; dissolve in hot pineapple juice. Cool. Meanwhile, whip cream and add sugar and vanilla. Fold cream into gelatin mixture. Carefully add the Jell-O cubes and blend. Pour into prepared crust. Chill 6 to 12 hours or until firm. Slice and serve.
