An Evening with Terri Hendrix

The Carver proudly presents Terri Hendrix. “I want there to be more to my life than just mere existence,” writes Terri in one of the essays featured in her new book, “Cry Till You Laugh-The Part That Ain’t Art.” Hendrix has meteorically surpassed this personal ambition. She is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a classically trained vocalist who refuses to be categorized and very easily weaves folk, pop, country, blues and swinging jazz into a eclectic style all her own. Her charismatic stage presence and reputation for always delivering an energetic and spiritually uplifting live show is no wonder why she has a strong and loyal fan following which extends three generations. Terri has produced live CD’s, a popular kids’ album and a Christmas EP. In addition, Hendrix has several local music awards to add to her collection of recognitions and accolades along with being inducted into the South Texas Music Walk of Fame. Recently, Hendrix a 501(c)(3) offering educational and therapeutic arts programs to people with neurological challenges. Hendrix is not merely existing, she has impacted the lives of others through her music, writing and community service. Time: 8:00 p.m. Location: Little Carver Civic Center Price: $21.00
