More than a conference, the Galveston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Conference is an experience. The April 5, 2013 event will feature keynote speaker Candace Bushnell, creator of Sex and the City. Mistress of Ceremony is KPRC TV anchor Dominique Sachse and other dynamic speakers include Raw Food guru Kristina Carillo-Bucaram - "How to be FullyRaw: A Presentation on Raw Food Health, Beaury, and Community"; author and documentary filmmaker Michelle Cove - "Seeking Happily Ever After"; UTMB physicians Dr. Catherine Hansen - "Sex in Your 60’s"; Dr. Tristi Muir - "Mambo Through Menopause: Managing Middle Age Magnificently"; and comedian Lyssa Graham. Tickets are $150 per person and include continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, refreshments, health breaks, shopping expo, AFter Glow Happy Hour and gift bag. Hours are 8 am - 5:30 pm.
