The 17th Annual Victory Over Violence Walk Run takes place Saturday April 13, 2013. This USATF certified 5K walk/run and a 1K Fun Run starts at Trinity Park Duck Pond near downtown Fort Worth and winds through Trinity Park. T-shirt, food, beverages, a huge children’s area and more are included. Registration is available online at www.vovfw.org or call 817-927-4006 Benefits the anti-violence programs of the Women’s Center of Tarrant County, serving over 90,000 women, men and children through its rape crisis and victim services, counseling and employment programs.
