Texas Justice - in black and white

posted in bum steers [more from this topic] by rbblum on Wednesday, October 27th 2010 at 1:51 PM.

Appropriate questions may have been addressed belatedly in regards to AG Holder-Black Panther civil rights issues; however, inconsistent application of the law in Texas on an equitable and equal basis is no different.  CASE IN POINT: There was the remarkably rapid investigation and timely trial of the Liberty County judge which lead to an an appropriate conviction; whereas, the growing community pleas for a public investigation regarding bond fund expenditures by the Beaumont ISD fall on deaf ears . . . and the antics of Houston city council member Jarvis Johnson are inexplicably beyond the long arm of the law.  Sadly, the aforementioned issues concerning Texas justice are as clear as black and white.
