Querencia at Barton Creek, Austin’s premier senior living community, recently hosted a special event commemorating the completion of the newly renovated Health Center. The event began with a ribbon cutting attended by local Chamber of Commerce members as well as Charlie Brewer, president and CEO of Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation, along with Cary Clayborn and Bernie Frances, both members of the Querencia at Barton Creek board of directors.
“We are extremely excited to have this construction complete,” said Ross Dickmann, executive director at Querencia. “It is our mission to always provide our residents with the best care, equipment and amenities available. I hope our residents will enjoy the new expansion as must as I’ve enjoyed watching our community grow.”
The Plaza Health Services Center now houses an improved physical, occupational and speech therapy area, as well as a beautiful recreation center and a store which offers hot and cold beverages, snacks and assortments of other goods. A chapel was also part of the expansion, which provides a special room for prayer, bible study and services for all faiths.
