Rick Perry vs The Educated

Paul Burka, with his piece "Old College Try", made me think of our founding father
Paul Revere, except in this case it is "The Nazis are Coming". There is a more than
scary parallel in what is going on with the Koch Brothers, Rick Perry, the good
governor of Wisconsin and all their billionaire friends and minions to the time
in which Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. Attacking research at the Universities
is beyond scary, unless you intend to put us all in camps!

On the other hand, my next door neighbor says: "I would really be scared of Rick Perry
if somebody taught that SOB how to read! Both Perry and the Bushes may need some of
those stem cells they stopped for 8 years!
