Cockfighting

What a disgusting Working Life story in the June 2011 issue.  Other than informing the uninformed about bloodthirsty people who break the law with animal torture, reading it has ruined my entire day.  A beautiful rooster visits my yard.  When I look at him and think his owner, whoever he is, is planning to sacrifice him in a cruel way, my heart breaks.  Shall we feature raising dogs for fighting?  I’d like to see the people who raise game fowls meet the same fate as a certain football player did.  Why do we stand for this thinly disguised law breaking, not to mention cruelty to animals?  Bobby Jones, may you meet the same fate as your beautiful fowls.  You are a true disgrace to Texas standing there with your Cowboys cap.
