Lutheran Social Services (LSS) has named Gay A. Garrett as health services admissions/outreach coordinator for The Village at Gleannloch Farms, the Lutheran-sponsored community for active adults ages 62 and up. Kathy Johanns, executive director for the not-for-profit community, made the recent announcement. 

Garrett most recently served as the sales and marketing director for an independent living community in the area. While in this position, she accomplished an 18 percent census increase in the first nine months, and the largest number of move-ins in one month in the four-year history of the community.  Before her last position, Garrett was the senior living counselor at The Village at Gleannloch Farms. 

“We are excited to have Gay back working with us,” said Johanns. “She did a wonderful job in her past role, and we know that her expertise in the field of Independent Living will continue here at The Village at Gleannloch Farms.”

In the past, she has worked as a court reporter, marketing and sales representative, realtor, and an elementary teacher. She is actively involved in the Professional Women’s Education Organization, Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum and Chi Omega Alumnae Association.
