Potato Balls

2½ c. Bisquick mix

2 c. cheddar cheese or Mexican Blend shredded

1 lb. sausage or bacon or ham

4 heaping T. sour cream

1 c. fresh hash browns (use frozen thaw and remove excess water

Mix all ingredients together and roll in balls ñ bake on parchment paper 375° F. 30 minutes or until golden brown. Very moist .

Good thing is can add whatever one likes to these. Garlic-parsley –chives-basil -Ranch Dressing (use dried pkg. just a little for extra flavoring- Get creative ñ make food not boring.

Or

Sweet Potato Balls Paula Deen

4 large sweet potatoes

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons orange juice

1 teaspoon orange zest

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

2 cups shredded coconut, sweetened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 large marshmallow per potato ball

Preheat oven 350 ° F.

Bake potatoes until tender,0 peel and mash them. Stir in the brown sugar, orange juice, zest and nutmeg. In a separate bowl, toss the coconut with the sugar and cinnamon. Press mashed potatoes around each marshmallow, creating a 2 to 3-inch diameter ball. Roll balls in coconut mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Watch carefully for last few minutes of cooking expanding marshmallows can cause potato balls to burst open.

Notes ~from Hj. Try poking holes in marshmallows before baking with toothpick like I do when I microwave eggs so they don’t explode in the micro.

What do U do with UR poatotoes?

Any ideas or new ways to fix potatoes?
