Chipotle BBQ Sauce with Beer

1 T. olive or canola oil

2 garlic cloves minced or use garlic granular  ½ to 1 tsp.

¼ tsp. gr. chipotle chili powder  smoked or regular

½  c. dark beer

½ c. ketchup

1T. apple cider vinegar

1 T. light soy sauce

Touch of Mexican oregano powder

½ tsp. cumin powder

1 tsp. chicken base (Better than Chicken Base

Dash liquid smoke  (mesquite or hickory or  whatever U want

Heat oil -medium heat in small saucepan- add garlic -chipotle powder ñ cook a minute

taking care not to burn the  garlic. Add beer -simmer  a few minutes stir in all other ingredients and simmer another10 minutes.

 Glaze meat during last 10-15 minutes of cooking time with the BBQ sauce ñ serve remainder of  warm sauce on the side.
