Pumkin Pie with Apple Butter Paula Deen AWESOME tasting

1 c. apple butter

1 c. punpkin canned or fresh

1/2 c. brown sugar packed

1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/8 tsp. gr. ginger

3 eggs, slightly beaten

3/4 c. evaportated milk

*( see added notes below

1 nbaked 9 inch shell -buy or make

Sweetened whipped cream for garnish

Praline pecans crushed for topping also

Preheat oven 425 ° F.

Combine apple butter, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices in a bowl. Stir in eggs. Gradually add milk and mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake about 40 minutes or until set.

Notes  ~If the crust begins to burn, place tin foil around the crust and lower temperature of the oven.

 A tasty topping for this pie is praline pecans.

 Hj’ s notes~ * add little gr. cloves- ñ allspice  about 1/4 to 3/4 tsp. each -depending on UR taste buds along with other listed spices in this recipe. YUM
