Lobster or Shrimp Rolls Delicious Hj’s Way of making these

1) 6 oz. lobster shell down to tail keep in tack – spit lengthwise

4)   jumbo shrimp  shelled totally  clean devein  ñ split

Flatten both to twist together

Egg wash  made of~

1 egg

1 cream cheese –half- ñ -half with salt –pepper-garlic-onion granular –sweet basil- add little mayo -cayenne pepper- jalapeño’s diced fine –seeded – no membrane

Mix all well together to thicker consistency to dip rolls in

Panko bread crumbs

Little salt – paprika  mixed together

Start heated oil of peanut oil ñ Canola mixed to 375 ° F.  (deep fryer or skillet

After twisting 2 shrimp ñ 1 halved lobster per roll- together with lobster tail fin in tack

Dip well into egg wash ñ roll might start to fall out of twist -it is okay will all come together in the end ñ once fried.

Dip into Panko bread crumbs well coating- place into hot oil ñ cook till well brown

About total of 3 to 4 minutes – turning each side ñ ends to fry ñ if U cut into ñ need  little more cooking place in micro wave oven on paper towels  about 30 to 45 seconds at a time on paper towels. Depending on how thick the rolls are.  DO NOT micro more or they will be tough ñ don’t forget after microwaving they still cook some.

If U try to  refry  in oil they will be greasy.

Drain on paper towels- serve with Asian dip or cocktail dip.

Delicious -they come out as rolls .  ’ñ Delicious

Notes~ Or do Lobster Rolls  this way~

Egg wash ñ mayo wash

Sauce ~to serve with Teriyaki Sauce little tiny bit with wasabi horse radish ñ light soy sauce

Or ~use my wasabi mayo sauce that is really good with these or use a hot remoulade sauce that is delicious also –just drizzle this sauce over top when serving with  a few fresh chives on top.

Also mix with lots garlic granular-Monterey seasoning or green chili seasoning or with basil

Get creative. Boundless ways to impress UR guest ñ great for a Romantic dinner for two.

Oh my Golly these are good - U can cut them in pieces after cooking for appetizers  or after snack or main meal served with different sauces.  Even use a cocktail sauce -a mustard sauce- or marinara sauce

These are good just using jumbo shrimp peeled -deveined ñ cut open as the lobster.  Using 2 or 3 jumbo shrimp  per person

Crab or Shrimp Rolls with or without Black Beans

½ tsps. garlic granular

2 red bell peppers roasted seeded ñ cut into ¼” strips *

3/4 lb. Alaskan King Crab or shrimp meat

Avocado Dipping Sauce -salsa for dipping

Drain beans -place in processor with garlic granular. Process until beans are coarsely pureed- Set aside.

Assemble by placing a tortilla on work surface. Spread a thin layer of beans on upper third portion of tortilla (about 3”wide. Below the beans- place a row pepper strips- below peppers a row of crab meat- below crab - final row of avocado. Repeat with remaining tortillas.

From bottom-roll up tortilla- pressing tightly as you roll. Cut off rough ends or edges of the roll - slice each into 6 equal slices. Sprinkle with chives - serve with Avocado Dipping Sauce or salsa

Enjoy this delicious Shrimp or Alaskan king crab Mexican.

Hj’s Note~ * Use fresno roasted peppers or roasted green chilies or serrano’s to the mixture-diced fine. Like to add some cream cheese mixed to shrimp or crab with cheddar cheese ñ the peppers just mentioned –little cayenne pepper – only little onion powder –no garlic ñ add cilantros to my taste ñ touch of fresh lemon juice ñ just touch of Better than Chicken Bullion to taste all mixed well. Oh yes- If U must add black beans –drain ñ rinse well ñ use not very much ñ purée those first. I don’t use the black beans –unless someone really wants them YUM
