Mashed Parsnips

These were brought to dinner by a friend.
Parsnips boiled like potatoes n seasoned to your liking
Mashed like taters. Used Garlic granular they had salt n pepper with fresh chives -butter n little milk
Notes~ you can eat 4 cups of these verses mashed potatoes n not worry about gaining weight. Healthy for you. Bet these would be good baked after mashing also so they got crusty on top.
Of course adding romano grated cheese or crushed crackers or Panko would probably add calories.

Also -I had cold shrimp with my cocktail sauce.
Will serve the shrimp for New Year’s with 2 differnet sauces
