Like to share finding New Type Immatation Crab

posted in seafood [more from this topic] by Hj on Saturday, May 14th 2011 at 7:44 PM.

No Recipe other than ingredients for creamed jalapeno dip or spread.  I listed what I used for this below. Make however U might like it with as much or little of listed ingredients.

If U find them, hope U like as much as the guest of mine did.

Found this imitation crab that is made with Pollock ñ/or pacific whiting fish- snow crabmeat ñ taste way better than imitation crab. It is new.

Taste almost like crab legs. They are about 4"long –located in the meat counter. I thought oh these won’t be good. So- I sampled them.

I brought some home-  made a slit in some of them (like a small pocket ñ added creamed finely diced jalapeño cheese-little sour cream whipped with cream cheese with some finely diced onion ñ salt to taste.  The were gone really quick.  Will make great appetizers or for the holidays. Just even as a quick snack.

They are called Snow Legs Crab Flavored SFD W/Surimi A CKD Fish Protein P/F .

They were gone in no time.

I just got these. Do you have to cook them or are they ready to go as is?
