Lime Garlic Granular Chicken Wings or Drumetts Hj’s

posted in poultry [more from this topic] by Hj on Saturday, August 6th 2011 at 12:51 AM.

Wings ñ drumetts skinned as much as possible.

Limes freshly squeezed to UR taste

Peanut Oil ñ I Can’t Believe It’s Butter to fry with garlic granular added to the skillet

Salt to taste

Cayenne pepper -red crushed
pepper or chipotle powder (optional

Scrap meat on drumetts to the large end of bone to look like a lollypop or leave as is- after removing the skin.

Heat large skillet with both Peanut Oil ñ I Can’t Believe it’s Butter with lots of garlic granular ñ some salt right into the skillet- stir well mixed to
heating point. Add ñ arrange chicken in the skillet -as not to crowd. Season with salt ñ cook one side till nice ñ brown ñ turn -repeat seasoning . When
just about cooked ñ brown- add FRESH lime juice all over chicken in skillet ñ turn one more time. (Be careful when adding juice to hot grease! Drain on paper towels ñ serve.

Had to make more they went so quickly.

Note~ this has a nice but not overpowering lime taste. Sometimes I add little more garlic granular over the chicken as it is cooking. Can add salt - after
cooking or guest can add it to their liking. Want a little heat -just add little cayenne pepper or red crushed pepper flakes or use some chipotle powder.
Get the ice cold beer or margarita’s out. This is good on thighs also.

Yes- U can cover the skillet when cooking. I don’t. BUT UR choice

Great cold too

Using oil -butter n garlic ~ Use just enough to coat pan or as U like.  I add about 1/2 to 1 T. garlic granular sometimes more but roasted garlic is awesome but than becareful cause it burns.

This will be my last post for  awhile -the format is too time consuming at times. Format is not  like it used to be- easy.  I thank all of you - who have enjoy all of our recipes.  Hj
