Broiled Tasty Meatballs with Shrimp and Pork

1/2 lb. shrimp uncooked peel devein cut up

1/2 lb. pork sausage uncooked

1/2 c. celery chopped

1/4 c. green onions chopped

1) 8 oz. can water chestnuts
chopped

2 eggs slightly beaten

1 T. soy sauce

1/4 c. bread crumbs soft

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper


~Dipping Sauce~

1/2 c. sour cream

1/2 c. mango chutney

1/2 tsp. curry

1/4 c. dry white wine

1/4 tsp. grated gingerroot

Preheat oven 350 °F. degrees. Using  food processor- add all meatball ingredients ñ pulse until finely chopped. DO NO over pulse to a pureéd stage. Shape into 36)  *1” meatballs*. Place on a broiler pan- bake 18 minutes or until slightly browned. Place in chafing dish to keep warm.


Dipping sauce -adding all ingredients in food processor -pulsing several times. Serve with meatballs - toothpicks. Makes approximately 1 cup of sauce.

Notes~ Make larger balls for main meals- Double recipe.

If not using the dipping sauce - add some red crushed pepper flakes for that extra Whazoo!
