Chipotle Turkey or Chicken Patties or Meatballs

posted in poultry [more from this topic] by Hj on Monday, April 2nd 2012 at 6:40 PM.

1 lb. gr. turkey or chicken
1 T. cumin powder
salt ñ pepper as usual
1 tsp. chili Powder
1 tsp. garlic granular or to taste
1 tsp. onion powder or little more*
1tsp. yellow mustard
1/2 tsp. Mexican oregano or to UR taste
chipotle peppers  in a can to UR
taste  dice*

Mix all together in a bowl –forming patties or meatballs

Form patties or meat balls ñ cook  as usual or fry 3 minutes per side for patties

Adjust seasonings to UR liking.

Notes~ Of course- if U want to use breadcrumbs or Panko do so.

Can use more onion diced fine ñ use egg white ONLY if U think U need a binder.

Can replace the chipotle peppers with jalapeño –serrano diced
fine or use fresh roasted green chiles no seeds diced.  YUM

I have place in the middle of the patties or meatballs with Queso cheese –Feta at times-Mexican Blend ñ Cheddar or have use some thin avocados~encasing the meat well around all so it doesn’t seep out when frying or baking.  Get creative ñ  Please share with us how U made this.
