2 tablespoon butter

1 (.7 pkg) of Italian-style salad dressing mix

1 (10.75) can of mushroom soup

1 (8oz.) container chive and onion cream cheese

1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.  Place all ingredients except the chicken in the pan.  Heat untill the sauce is smooth and well blended.  Place the chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.  Cook until the chicken is tender about 4 hours
