Red Peppered Soup Roasted with Italian Seasonings

Rinse peppers – drizzle with little oil ñ roast ñ peel.

Heat oil ñ onion in large pot –sauté with garlic till
soft. Add roasted peeled  seeded ñ sliced or chopped peppers with all seasonings ñ sugar- stir ñ cook a couple minutes.

Place this ñ beans in blender or processor ñ purée. Add 1 can chicken broth ñpurée smooth ñ return all to pot to cook more-stir in 2nd can broth–mix till smooth. Simmer about 6 minutes ñ add lemon juice. Eat hot or cold.

I love this recipe n sometimes I add fres basil leaves at the very end  diced up.
Note~can use as a sauce or for meats or veggies.
