*Mix beef with garlic-salt- pepper- diced green chiles-in large bowl. Shape into 4 flat patties. Preheat broiler or grill. Cook burgers to desired doneness. Just before serving-sprinkle cheese on top of each bun. Toast buns till they are lightly browned ñ cheese is melted. Top each bun with a hamburger patty- onion-tomato ñ lettuce as desired. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
Hj’s Notes~ using fresh roasted green chilies or serrano’s or jalapeño’s is better with roasted garlic.
Can use avocado-slices –fried bacon ñ or friend onion rings to top this for the ultimate supreme taste.
Add some gr. chili ñ cumin powder also for a great flavor ñ a touch of Mexican oregano.
Ur favorite cheese goes well. Get creative.
Goes great with any macaroni or potato salads or fries ñ a cold beer!
