posted in meat [more from this topic] anonymously on Thursday, July 19th 2012 at 10:44 AM.

3 lbs. chicken
2 Tbsps. creamy peanut butter
2 Tbsps. chocolate syrup or any other Mexican chocolate
3 Tbsps. chili powder
1 c. tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp salt or to your taste
1 c. peas

Wash chicken inside and out - cut into 8 pieces. Remove skin if you want. Place in a pot with enough water to cover chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer about 15 minutes. Remove all broth and add back 1-2/3 cups broth to pot. Mix together peanut butter, chocolate syrup, chili powder, tomato sauce, cloves, cinnamon, paprika and salt in a bowl, then add to the pot. Mix well. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cook about 25 minutes. Add peas, cook about 5 minutes more. Serve with warm tortillas.
