TEXAS MONTHLY, the national magazine of Texas, is always interested in meeting qualified account managers even though there are currently no open Texas sales positions. TEXAS MONTHLY offers opportunities for dynamic and senior sales professionals. Minimum of 5 years related sales experience is required, preferably with media experience. Responsibilities include: Prospect and develop new business, service clients and secure long-term relationships, achieve revenue goals set by Sales Manager, and maintain client database. Skills/Abilities: Must have strong persuasive communication skills, ability to develop and deliver sales presentations and negotiate contracts based on the needs of the client. Must have proven track record of excellence in sales process and revenue gains. Very strong organizational and time management skills. Must also possess ability to exercise independent judgment and solve problems. Additional skills required include: Strategizing, Marketing, Networking, and Researching. The position requires an energetic, self-motivated sales executive with knowledge of the Texas market, a strong work ethic and a winning attitude. Some travel is required. Minimum of 2 years sales experience is required, preferably with media experience. Must have proven track record of excellence in sales process, closing new business and revenue gains. Very strong organizational and time management skills. Must also possess ability to exercise independent judgment and solve problems. Additional skills required include: Strategizing, Marketing, Networking, and Prospecting.The position requires an energetic, self-motivated sales executive with knowledge of the Dallas regional market, a strong work ethic and a winning attitude.
