Angel Heart
Before her death, Farrah Fawcett achieved what had long eluded her: three-dimensionality.

Mr,Kelly. I am appaled at this article, not a tribute in Ms.Fawcett’s time of death. Your not a true TEXAN by the cruelty, and disrespect shown to Farrah let alone any lady. First the reason for Farrah’s Story was to dispell the lie’s published by the rag mag’s. Farrah hated those trashy magazines. As for your bit on her LETTERMAN moment do your reasearch. How can you call yourself much more than a writer for a rag mag. I am deeply saddened at TEXAS MONTHLY , and for it’s lack of respect. A NATIVE TEXAN-

Mr Kelly, at first I thought I was reading an article that was being disrespectful to Ms. Fawcett. As I read on it was a fair, if not complimentary article. I disagree about your views on Farrah’s films, The Burning Bed (1984) and Extremities (1986). I think Farrah had a lot of guts to do these two films. Farrah was a beautiful woman. For her to be filmed with very little, if no make-up, face beaten up, snot running out of her nose, etc, was a risk on Farrah’s part, because the public saw her as a blonde, ditzy sex bomb with no brains. For her to go against the grain made non-fans (and critics)take notice that she could act. Farrah’s Story made many people see what I had known years ago, that our Angel was just like the rest of us, a human being who just wanted to live. R.I.P Farrah, you are very much loved and will be missed.
