Kenny Eaton says:
Stephen Bruton should have been included in this article.
I don’t know about you folks in Texas but down here in Alabama, Stephen is still sorely missed.

Robert Ewing says:
Lost my Dad this year, a guy that grew up poor with a abusive father in South Oak Cliff, joined the Army in 1945 and was stationed in Japan, came from nothing to end up on the small team that placed radio communications into Air Force One, raised three kids and was married to my mom for 56 years. A Texan born in Terrell, he traveled to Jordan, Japan, England & Germany. Just a guy from Texas few ever knew....we miss him.

Susan Higbee says:
Clarence Swensen was one of the nicest people I have ever met. A true southern gentleman! One year when I was the assistant to Clarence and his wife during the Aberdeen, South Dakota Oz Festival we sat through a tornado in an Aberdeen restaurant. That’s right! I sat through a tornado with a Munchkin by my side, and I enjoyed every minute of it! Clarence made everyone he met feel special, and he will be missed.
