I also would like to know how long he was put away for 2005 convictions. This time it was a
Two million fraud rather than the half million of 1989.
He was convicted of two counts of wire fraud, two counts of bank fraud, eight counts of making a false statement regarding a loan and five counts of money laundering. I have NO sympathy for him. How long were his sentences?
Anyone who knew him in college knew he had the attitude that he should be allowed to break any rule and get away with anything he did because he was a "good Republican and Christian" who had brown nosed and sucked up to the university’s president. He could be charming at a first meeting, but most of us couldn’t stand him once we got to know him.
That he thought he could get away with such crimes didn’t surprise anyone. It was that he got caught so quickly that amazed us.
