Nice story. I met a lot of the Bandidos when my son started working in bars. (Pretty scary for a newly divorced mom) They are very normal people, as long as you don’t cross them. I also work in law enforcement, so I let them know that right away. They know I won’t go to their house parties, and they know that I see nothing if I am not working. They are actually very normal people -one lives across the street from me, and there are never any loud, crazy parties at his house. Half the time I don’t even know he has his brothers over until I hear the roar of those Harleys.

Very nice article. I had the opportunity to spend 2 weeks over New Years 1993 with a Bandido member and his gf. I went to Houston from Tampa, never having met these people before. The member was a good friend of my former bf, and the girl and I had only spoken on the phone. I was just the girl next door, no prior dealings with "bikers" never been inside a strip club. But I went. I had a great time! When they picked me up, they took me out to eat and HE paid. I was shocked. We got to their house, and it was clean and well kept. I was shocked again. For New Years, the gf, myself and another girl went to some Houston clubs. Who caused a problem? The Bandido gf? Nope. ME. I don’t drink, and promptly got smashed, hopped into some limo (my normal lifestyle in FL) and ended up LOST! Who came to get me sitting on a curb at 1:30am? The Bandido. He chewed me out, like he was my dad..omg. Right before I was to go home, we were to go to some big party down in San Antonio. I became a little nervous, having "heard" stories. So, I flat out asked him, what I would be expected to do? He said "Nothing. Some of the girls might take their shirts off, and parade around, but you don’t have too. Don’t worry, I’m not going to let anyone drag you off in the bushes!" It rained, so we didn’t go. While I was packing to go, the gf pulled out one of her "Bandido" shirts to give me as a souvenir. Then she changed her mind. She said "No, you’ll wear this, and it might get you in trouble." I came home realizing everything you said in your article. People shouldn’t believe all the bs they read about these people.
