Johnny’s Place in Clifton is better than several of the places mentioned on this list. I highly recommend it.

We were told the Bar-B-Que and SteakHouse in Dickinson, TX had the best BBQ in the area. It is located at 2111 FM 517 East, Dickinson, TX 77539 and is a diamond in disguise. My wife and I ate there and from meeting the staff as we came in to being served meet and sauce samples before ordering, we were hooked. Every meet is freshly purchased for a business in Texas and is heavenly. Each side dish is prepared on site by a lively senior with recipes that literally taste home made. Even the tea is home made. Typical meals of this quality and mouth to soul savouring delight cost $100 plus. The deserts are hand made on site with a gourmet flair and worth traveling to enjoy. This place should be included in your picks. Thanks.
