Jerry Patterson, Texas Land Commissioner (Thursday, February 5th 2009)

Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson doesn’t shy away from controversy, and doesn’t toe any party’s line. Some say his brand of politics will push him out of office. Others believe it could carry him higher—perhaps to Lieutenant Governor in 2010.
